autoshapes and text

i have my autoshape( a rectangle) and i have text in it. When i go to rotate it, it only rotates the shape and leaves the text behind. How do i also rotate the text

If you want the text and the rectangle to rotate 90 degrees right or left,
you can use the Text Alignment button on the Text Box toolbar, which should
appear when the cursor is in the text of the autoshape.
