Autosave feature

Apparently Microsoft has removed the autosave feature from
Excel 2002. Does anyone know how to install this very
important feature?

AutoSave was replaced in 2002 with AutoRecover.

Autosave was replaced by Autorecover, which is intended to save you from
losing data because of a crash. You can use an older Autosave.xla with
Excel 2002 if you have one. Also Jan Karel Pieterse's AutoSafe is available
here: http://www.bmsltd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm

If you consider Jan's AutoSafe add-in be forewarned that it is more like the
Excel AutoRecovery than the Autosave that was replaced.
