autoplay problem

When I insert CF card into reader, dialog box appears
saying "what do you want windows to do?" etc. this should
give list of options, such as "download files using **",
display files in picture fax viewer, or "do nothing", yet
this box is empty, no options. In music or video, etc,
there are options, as there are on other pc.

How do I insert my options into this autostart tab?

I would try two things.

1. Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...

Try your camera.
If this does not restore the options.

2. I would try restoring the default.
When this box (Autoplay window) opens, click on the Cancel button.
Click on My Computer and right click on your camera listed under Removable
storage. Click on Properties and on the Autoplay tab. Under Select, select
Pictures. See what is listed there. If nothing is listed, try restore
default.
