When I try to download pics from my media card to my Roxio drag to disc (I
have already downloaded the patch for this), I keep getting a pop up window
"autoplay" and I cant cancel it not can I copy photos to disk. I have gone
into media properties and choosen in autoplay not to do anything. What can I
do to fix this problem? I just did a big photo shoot for a sports team and Im
stuck not knowing how to fix this problem. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Kay
Have you tried going into "Autoplay" and selecting an action for your photos
such as "Copy pictures to a folder on my computer ...."

I tried switching the autoplay on my media device to copy files using
microsoft scanner and camera wizard. I then tried opening the card reader
again and I got so far as to save some pictures before the autoplay popped up
again. I then proceeded to safely remove my card so that the autoplay would
stop searching. I just got a new hard drive installed on my puter and I was
trying to save those pics to the new hard drive. I got part way there before
the autoplay pop up.

I tried switching USB and that didnt fix the problem either. I made sure
there were no disks loaded and just tried loading pics from card reader to
save to new hard drive. Saved all but 6 pictures, then here we go again with
the autoplay pop up.
Any other suggestions on this autoplay problem?

Hi Kay
Have you tried right clicking on the removable disc drive, select properties
and auto play tab. Then make sure that none of the content type options i.e.
music files, pictures, video files or mixed content have "Prompt me each
time to choose an action " selected as an option.

FYI I found out my whole problem was a recalled media card with
malfunctioning firmware. Card was made by Lexar. I have since gone to where I
bought my media card and they replaced it free of charge. If anyone has this
same problem, you can go to Lexarmedia.com for detailed information. Thanks
Bill for your replies! I appreciate it.
