Automating form

I have a access database which is being used for data collection. The problem
i am having is on one of the forms that is being used for the data collection
thier is a section that only has to be done every tenth unit. I have tried to
write code so that the form has that section with a line thought it if it is
not the tenth unit but it does not work.
i am wondering if anyoen has a better idea or knows of a way to do this.

i have fixed my one problem. my problem now is i have it counting the new
records but now i need it to recongize that the number is the tenth one. I
figure if i use the mod function on the number it will return zero and then
that will be the tenth one. My problem is getting the code to do that.
