I want to know how to configure this so that when I click it automatically
sends. I don't want to have to then click send/recieve

thanks

Who said that you had to click Send/Receive ?
Once you clicked SEND, it was sending. If you expect the mail to be gone
faster than lightning, you are wrong. Sometimes it will take a few extra
seconds, particularly if it contains attachment.
