"Automatically put people I reply to in my address book."

I'm running Outlook XP under Windows XP Pro.

Outlook Express has an option to "Automatically put people I reply to in my
address book." I'm trying to find the same option in Outlook but can't. Does
it have it?

Thanks

No there is no automatic way to do that in the Outlook Versions I have run,
it always surprised me when I find more options at times in OE.

This solution can be a little cumbersome to set up but it
works for me. I have set-up a rule to be applied after
messages arrives. Next I checked off "Suspected to be junk
e-mail or from junk senders". Next I checked "Move it to
the specified folder" called Junk (or you can create
anything you want for testing purposes before deciding if
this can work for you). Next I checked "Except if from
people or distribution lists". This allows me to enter
everyone from my address book into it. Next I needed to
include all domain name endings such as com, ca, net, org,
and nl (more are added as I see those coming from other
domains) into the junk email senders list. To access this
list click on Tools, Organize, Junk Email. Ensure junk
email is turned on. Click on "Click here" for more options
(last text in that dialog box). Click on "Edit Junk
Senders" Then tpye in the extension without the period
before it. Click on Add for each new domain ending you can
come up with. In essense what this should do is throw all
your mail into a folder of your choosing (mines junk just
for additional security - peace of mind, but it could be
your deleted Items folder) with the exception of all those
email address in your address book. Let me know if this
works for you. It can be a little tedious to setup
initially but it works for me in the long run.

You can drag the address to your contact list.

Outlook should have anyone you send/reply automatically added.

It is much easier to delete someone than add them.

Thanks to all who replied.

: No. You can use code to add it, however:
