Hi-
Is there a way to open a Word document in the main body
of a web page? This is for an Intranet.
We want this document to have tracking turned on, and it
will be used as a logging tool. Rights would be set on
the server. Users could add shift information - and the
word tracking would identify them by thier login.
Ideally that word document could open "as a document"
right in the main body... Is a link the best I can do?
any auto open options?

Hopefully this is not too vague... I appreciate any ideas
or advice---
thanks - Cindy

No. You would have to just link to the document. Suggest you post this issue to the appropriate Word
newsgroup as well.

To get Word to open instead of the Word doc in IE, it would have to be done on each user workstation - See
