In a presentation I want to highlight (or underline/bold) a word when the
mousecursor moves over the word.
Purpose : During church service we want the deaf people now what the rest
is singing.

Any idea's how this can be done ?

(sorry for the bad english)

I'm afraid that can't be done automatically in PowerPoint. Maybe one of the
VBA-guys has an idea how to solve it with programming.

But you could change the size and form of your mouse cursor in your
operating system. WinXP offers extra large cursors and hands, so that you
could point to the text.

Best regards,

Would it be helpful for you, if you could highlight a whole text block on
mouse-click? Then please send me an e-mail to us "at" ppt-user.de. A
friend provided me with a makro to highlight text.

It's not so bad. Where do you come from?

What about line by line instead of word by word?

You could do a regular text build but use a font style change emphasis to make
the current line (and all previous ones) bold.
