automatically close outlook

I would like to automate my backup alittle more by running on a schedule
unattended. Since I often leave outlook running is there a command line
command or batch file that I could use to close outlook prior to the backup.
MY backup program will run commands prior to doing a backup so I could
easily feed it a command line to close outlook 2000 but I don't know what to
use. Any ideas?
 
I use a free program called "Dazzling Events".

I can be setup to do alot of different things at scheduled times. One
of them being "ShutDown Application".

If you know how long the backup takes, you can also use the program to
start Outlook back up...
