automatic updates

I am getting the same automatic update,a security update
(KB810217)It has been downloaded EIGHT TIMES!!I dont want
to turn off automatic updates and I cannot really find a
way to tell Microsoft to stop! How can i remove 7 of
these eight downloads? How can i stop this?Note these
downloads were all SUCESSFULL downloads!Please help!

There is a newsgroup specifically for Windows Update
issues microsoft.public.windowsupdate
The first thing those in that newsgroup will likely ask
is whether you have yet followed advise in the WU
troubleshooting page
