I created some rules in Outlook XP, now I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2 but my
rules are not running automatically (manually ok)! I saw a lot og threads
regarding this but didn't find any definite answer for! Also there were some
rules I deleted before, but they reappeared after I closed Outlook and
repoened it again. Now I did the same and they're finally gone, but I'm not
sure they won't "come back" again.

2. Sometimes (not always) outlook.exe process keeps running after having
Outlook closed. It lets me reopen Outlook without problems, but after I close
Outlook a second time, a second outlook.exe process will appear too and so
on! I don't think it's normal (not just because it's "eating" CPU)!

Thanks for the quick and kind help in advance

Do you have any Outlook addins or programs that might be interacting with
it?

Also, it's a long shot but run ScanPST.EXE on your PST file just to make
sure nothing is funky about it.

I only have 'Exchange Extensions property pages' (it's box is unchecked)
add-in in my Outlook, but what would be those "programs that might be
interacting with it"?

I made the pstscan and it did find "an" error (unspecified even in details),
repaired. Rules seem to work fine now, but I'll update you regarding this
later on as I only got one new e-mails since...

Thanks for the answer in advance!

Programs like sync programs or programs that access Outlook data

Nokia PC Suite (6.6.18) but it's idle, i don't even user its sync function at
all, it is stopped, nothing else...
