Automatic reboot after Updates

Who the hell thought this would be a good idea?? They should be taken out
and beaten! I had NUMEROUS applications open doing work last night when I
went to bed, only to find my machine had been rebooted at 06h00EST this
morning. Upon further investigation of system logs (after blaming my wife -
how many more marriages will you damage with this new feature??) I find that
the automatic update rebooted my PC, thus screwing me. When I enabled the
automatic updates (since if you don't, the OS nags the $%^& out of you) I
trusted it NOT to poke me, but alas.. So, I suggest management track down
whoever added this "feature", and make their lives a living hell. Stupid,
stupid, stupid... I suggest you ALL change the automatic update setting to
"Download, but don't install" if you you are in the habit of thinking your
work will be safe by locking your console, or you will NOT be happy.

You're obviously a moron. Thanks for letting us know.

Outstanding!! Just the type of insightful and meaningful analysis I was
seeking. Don't cut yourself on the razor sharp wit you got there..

Wow.. insightful. Let me hurry and write that down before I forget it. So,
is it busy at the 7-11 where you are currently working night shift? (this is
a rhetorical question; this means I don't really expect [pronounced "want"]
an answer).

I think these MAY be the two most useless responses to any post I have ever
seen. I hope neither of you breaks your arm patting yourself on the back for
"putting me in my place" (maybe you should pat each others' backs, or
celebrate with an internet high-five!!) Gentlemen, please don't waste any
more space in my inbox by replying to my post.. seriously.

ok
