Can I set up a word doc so when it opens it automatically prints?

I plan on having a Powerpoint show that links to my resume. I'd like my
perspective boss to be able to print off a copy by clicking on the
hyperlinked text in the powerpoint document. The resume is in word. Do I
set up a word file for autoprint, or can I modify the hyperlink so it
opens/prints/closes the document in one stroke?

Any help.

I have to tell you - that's a really hairy thing you're asking to do. I
don't think I'd try a stunt like that with a resume. If I was a perspective
employer, I'd print your resume *if and only if* you had the
qualifications/skill set I needed. I wouldn't appreciate something that
bypassed my decision to print a resume.

Just my opinion.

AHA so it's not as easy as I had hoped.

The idea is that I impress my potential employer with my compy skills and
make life ridiculously easy for him to notice.

I already have some experience working with him and the company. I'm simply
sending this off to move departments.

But if it's as hairy enough to cause an MVP a headache--then I think the
wise thing to do would be to let him use his mouse and hit the print button,
or mabye CTRL+P or maybe ALT, F, P.

Did I miss any?

So for this deadline (Tuesday) I think I'll avoid it. In the future though
it seems to me that the easiest way is to set up a hyperlink to be able to
tell it to print. If you've got any ideas please let me know. In the
meantime I'm off to the Front Page Forum--Those guys usually know weird
things like that.

Thanks anyway JoAnn!

Hint - Make your resume available as a .pdf. Platform and application
independent - what more can you ask for?
