Automatic Picture Download and Reply

Hello group,

I found a few other people asking this here, but no answer:

I cannot reply to a HTML mail in Outlook 2003 without downloading the
pictures. Why?

It should be simple for Outlook to just copy over the HTML code to the
reply. Why is it necessary to download the pictures from the external
website? Is there a way to stop Outlook from doing this?

The possibility to set the option "alway reply in plain text" is too
hard. I want to use HTML text fomatting, I just don't want to download
those pictures!

That ability was not added until Outlook 2007.
