Automatic logoff

How can I configure Windows 2000 Professional to logoff or lock the computer
automatically after a set idle time? This is not part of a domain, it is
stand alone. I thought it was set in Security under Administrative Tools, but
I guess I was wrong.

You can go into display properties and configure the screen saver to on resume
password protect and set the idle time you desire. You also can do the same in
local Group Policy [gpedit.msc] under user configuration/administrative
templates/control panel/display if you want all users on he computer to have the
same settings enforced. --- Steve
