automatic "height" on table cells

Is there any way to stop FP2000 from automatically putting a
"height" attribute on table cells and tables ? It is (seriously)
getting in the way. I know I can remove it manually, but it's
really a pain - I'd like to prevent it if possible. I can upgrade
to XP if that helps with any options.

Thanks,
J

(Really peeved that I just wasted 15 minutes trying to hunt down a
browser compatibility problem that turned out to be a "height"
attribute that FP stuck on a <table> statement !).

Open a blank page in FrontPage. Choose Table, Insert Table, from the menu.
Make all your settings and click ok. Now whenever your draw a table FP will
use this as the default.

I also use FP 2000. If you resize your tables by dragging with the mouse, FP
will add a height attribute. Otherwise, there should not be any problem. But
if you consistently have this problem, then whenever you're finished working
on a table, it would not be a bad idea to do a quick check. It only takes a
couple of seconds. You can put the 'table properties' command on the toolbar
to make it quicker.

There's no height selection in the Table => Insert Table dialog
box. FP seems to decide when and if to insert height attributes
entirely on its own.
