Automatic functions

Hi

I am trying to type a list with numbering and zip codes. I constantly face
the problem of Word desiding to remove the first zero from the postal code
or if I use 1. plus text and return, the next line starts with 2. and so
forth.

This is making my job slow to try to correct these automatisations time
after time. Is there a way to correct this?
Thanks
Kalevi

Hi, Kalevi. You can turn off these automatic features in Tools | Autocorrect Options | Autoformat as You Type | uncheck all of the boxes under "Apply as you type" and "Automatically as you type".
