Automatic Font Color

I have a template that has the Automatic (default) font set at grey. I've
been able to control text color in new text boxes, but when I cut/paste in
existing text boxes from other PowerPoint files the font is automatically
changed to the Automatic Font color of grey. How do I change that for good?

Try going to slide design > color schemes > edit color schemes (small at the
bottom!)

Click the "text" color and change it

See if that works

YEA!!!!! That did it! Thanks so much, I knew there had to be a way, but
hadn't stumbled across it and couldn't find a thing in PPT help. Thank
