Automatic Delayed Send/Receive

Howdy all!

So here's what I want to do. I have Outlook 2002. I have scheduled all
of my various accounts to do an automatic send/receive every five
minutes. Now, say I jot down some quick note to a friend, and I set the
message options so that the message is not to be delivered before
tomorrow at 16:30. I finish off my message with a quick signature,
specify an account, and hit "Send."

....why is it that my messages are never being sent, even though I'm
leaving Outlook open all day, every day?

What version of Outlook do you have, and what sort of mail account(s)?
