Automatic Calendaring?

S

Scott

I have a need to create, on a regular basis, a series of
tasks/appointments that trigger off of a date certain.
In my law office, when a trial date is set by the court,
several critical cut-off dates are established for events
that must be completed at 15, 45, 60 and 90 days before
trial.

If I want to use Outlook to keep track of these various
deadlines, is there a way to create a form, or a VBA
script, that can automatically calendar all of the events
with the single entry of the trial date? I have
considered using Microsoft Project to create a template,
and import the tasks back into Outlook, but that seems
like overkill.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

http://www.taskline.info has a utility that can do this for you. It has all
kinds of built in dependencies that may just suit what you want to do.

Alternatively, you can check on google.com or slipstick.com for docket
scheduling software. I am sure that there are many examples out there that
will work for what you need.

I wrote a program called CalendarPro that does just that. It is not available at this time. However, email me at (e-mail address removed) with your operating system version, and I will email you the installation files
