Automated response while I'm on vacation to new emails

How do I set up an automatic response to go out to new emails when I'm on
vacation?
 
The method described in that article will only work if the user is using
Exchange Server. If not, try the methods listed at
http://www.slipstick.com/rules/autoreply.htm. Remember that you will have to
leave Outlook running for the autoreply rule to run, and that it will send
the reply to ALL senders, including spammers.
