Hello all;

Can someone guide to the solution of setting up database sync schedualed
task every 5 hours or so. We have a second location that usually sychronizes
manually to our main db but I would like to set it up to automatically sych.

Thnanks!

use SQL Server; MSDE has some free subsciber replication options

SQL Server; a single license-- it might cost you a grand or so; but
it's worth it

MDB is obsolete anyone that tells you otherwise is trying to sell you
something

Mike K - did you ever get a response to this? I have the same question and
was hoping someone could give me some guidance.

Thanks,

I have answered this question today in
microsoft.public.access.replication.

But I would say that if you have already read the white papers and
FAQs for replication, you ought to know the answers for it. My
explanation is designed to help you do it without needing
Replication Manager, which the MS docs *don't* explain.

A handy reference for replication documentation is here (all on one
line):
