Hi, does anyone knows how to get data from a serial port using Visual Basic?
I'm trying to get the weigth from a scale.
I want to get the weigth to a specific control.

Your subject line doesn't really cover your question. Or were you
thinking Autokeys macro somehow has to do with serial communications?
It does not.
Rather you'd want to use mscomm.ocx. Google for it.
The vendor of the scale should also be able to provide some help.

Thank you Tom, you are rigth, I was thinking on a different subject when I
posted the question, the header should read something like "RS-232 scale
communication"
I do not know how to change the header, I'll google mscomm.ocx to see what
it is.
