Autoforward rule on Resource mailbox

Guest

Hi,

Setup :
I have MSOutlook 2000 sp3 client on my machine
I have a resource mailbox setup on the exchange server called
(e-mail address removed) with myself as owner.
I also configured my own outlook client so that i can see all outlook
folders of the resource mailbox along with my own mailbox folders.

Problem :
the (e-mail address removed) mailbox can get "Undeliverable:Statements" emails from
customers. Need to create autoforward rules which will autoforward all
Undeliverable emails with 'Statements' word to a separate email id called
(e-mail address removed).

When i create the rule on the Resource Inbox from either my mail box or the
resource mailbox, the rule does not work

Autoforward to the Internet is blocked by default in E2000/2003 - for good
reason. Same with autoreply. Where is co.com?
One option would be to have the autoforward go to another internal address -
like a distribution list called (e-mail address removed) - and create a
mail-enabled contact that has (e-mail address removed) as its only member. Would
that work? You wouldn't need to open up autoforward or autoreply to the
Internet that way.
