autoformat styles

hi all,

when selecting autoformat for the background style of a
form, is there a way to add additional autoformat choices.
i know you can add based on existing formats, but can new
ones be added, or am i just missing something. i would
like to create an autoformat with just a solid color, like
light blue.

If that's all you want, with any form you can simply delete the Form
Picture property, and set the backcolor of the Form Detail, Form
Header, and Form Footer to the Blue color you want. Nothing else is
needed.

If you do wish to actually add a plain blue picture to the available
list of formats, create a .bmp image (using MSPaint if you want) of
the color you want. Save it as a .bmp file in the same location your
other Access bitmaps are stored.
In my computer (Access 2002) they're stored in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Bitmaps\Styles

The location may be different on your computer.

Then set the Form's Picture property to that bitmap.
You'll also need to set the Form's Picture Size Mode property to
Stretch.

I would go with my first paragraph's suggestion. It's simpler.
