I am typing text into a cell that is merged therefore
Autofit does not work. I have to size the rows
independently which is fine except when I print out the
document some of the lines are wider than they should be
as the text only wrapped once instead of twice as it
appeared on the screen. How can I make the text appear on
the page as it appears on the screen.

Hi
this is one of the problems of merged cells. You should try to avoid
merged cells

This is a general "problem"; what you see on your screen is not always what
you get on print with Excel. This is especially true for word wrap, etc,
that may give large outpu changes with very small changes in font size. I
don't think there is a work-around, until the cooperation between screen and
printer (drivers?) becomes better.

Thanks for your input. It looks like I'll have to stick
with forcing the wrap with Alt/Enter.
