Autofit row height on a merged cell

If I select autofit row height on a single cell then wrap
text no matter how much I type into the cell the row
height automatically adjusts to fit, I have followed the
same procedure on merged cells but the row height does not
adjust accordingly it stays as a single standard row
height.
Is there any way around this so that the row height
automatically adjust with the amount of text I type into a
merged cell ???

Wrap text works on merged cells. Autoheight does not. You can resize
manually or via Macro. Jim Rech has written code for this.
