Autofilter

The autofilter command is grey'ed out. I receive this spreadsheet daily and
never had the problem before. It's not protected.
 
Do you see [Group] in the Title Bar?

This means you have more than one sheet selected.

Autofilter will not work in this case.

Grouped sheets will have a white tab.

NOTE: if these are grouped and have been for a while, take a good look at all
the sheets.

While in group mode, what you do to one sheet will be done to all.

Select a non-white sheet to ungroup.

Hope you didn't do too much mucking about while the sheets were grouped.

pane...
 
When you state "not grouped" do you mean you don't have multiple sheets
selected?
