Autofilter/filter in Excel only shows 1000 rows in dropdown list.

Hi all.

I have a problem with some large Excel worksheets that I
would like to filter.

We tested the filter by creating a new coulomb, naming it
test, and then numbering each row from 1 - 4000. When
putting on the autofilter, the droppdown list only shows
1 - 1000. Even though it can filter all 4000 rows.

Is this a limitation in Excel? I have tried it on both
Excel 2000 and XP, and it does the same.

I would really appreciate of someone had a solution for
this.
