Hi all,

I have a macro that basically filters out duplicate
entries. I would like to know if there is a way to do this:

I have 2 filters set to show me duplicate entries. If I
set a third filter to filter on BLANKS in a certain field
I get the data that I want to delete. Now how can I get
the row numbers of the data that shows up while filtered?
(IE. the blue row numbers ONLY.)

SCENARIO:
I have a HUGE list with many duplicate Customer Numbers.
Most of the people in the list have a FULL RECORD(all
fields have info in them), but when we add another list to
it some of those names do not have data in certain fields,
Those are the records I want to delete the duplicate
entries for. And if I set my filter to one of the "certain
fields" then I can get my list of bad records/duplicate
customer numbers. But I need to know how to only grab the
rows that are "showing" in my filtered state.
thanks for any help in advance....

Hi,
You can do this simply byu using the Advance filter in excel,- where
you can sort/filter by many things at once, look to help for how to
use

Good luck
Ross
