AutoFEUpdater problem

I hope I'm not too guilty of double posting, but I also posted this in the
VBA forum...

I have been using Tony Toews AutoFEUpdater on a couple of different Access
DBs (Access 2000).

Just recently I started getting an error message each time I try to open one
of the databases via it's AutoFEUpdater shortcut. It tells me that "Another
program is currently using this file" (StartMDB.exe). When this happens, you
can't get into the database or the StartMDB.exe application.

I replaced the StartMDB.exe, and it worked briefly, but then started having
the same problem.

Any suggestions???

I have no idea. I've never seen this error in conjunction with an
exe. And I've never seen anyone else report this error either.

Perry over the VBA forum has a few good questions so I've responded
over there.
