autoexec.bat

Folks,

When I boot my XP machine I get many messages in
userenv.log saying "ProcessAutoexec: Cannot process
autoexec.bat."

Using search I cannot find autoexec.bat on my machine even
with search system folders and hidden files and folders
enabled.

Being a novice, especially to XP, I don't know if I should
be worried about this or not. Can anyone advise me?
 
Autoexec.bat is a carryover from DOS and older Windows. XP uses autoexec.nt for older programs that might need special settings.
