"autocomplete names" not working in outlook 2003

i have checked the "autocomplete names" in my outlook 2003 e-mail screen but
it does not work. i'd like to get it working so when i type in the first
couple of letters of a name, it appears as an option.

You won't see it working until you've sent enough messages to have populated
your autocompletion cache.
