AutoComplete/AutoFill

I can't get my AutoComplete to work. I've gone into Tools/Options/Edit and
checked Enable on. Is there somewhere else I need to check?
 
What is it you are trying to autocomplete? Repetitive text? You also have
autofill in your subject, that has nothing to do with autocomplete

It's autocomplete that I'm trying to use....repetitive text in a column.

Is it because I have some rows within the column that do not contain text
(blank)?

Thanks for any help you can offer me.

For autocomplete to work you must have data in contiguous rows. Blank rows
will mess up the sequemce.
