Can someone tell me why it is still remaining some mails in the inbox
after run the autoarchive. I am using Outlook2003 SP2 to connect my imap
email account. And I am also using Netscape Messenger7.2 to read my
mail. I recongize that these mails didn't archive when i read mails in
Messenger or via Webmail access. Does any have idea of it? Thanks...

I checked the mail modified date is older than the archive period so it
normally move to archive folder. And I found the messages were read from
Messenger is marked 'read' and change 'unbold' in the Outlook pane and
the modified date has been changed of these messages. Does the Outlook
use the own record to archive mail?

I don't understand "use the own record". If the modified date changed, as
you've seen, and that date is newer than the archive date, that explains why
the item wasn't archived.

I have a similar problem.
In my personal folders which are set to auto archive items, there are a
number of items which have modified date set to "None"
Those items are not getting archived at all.
Any suggestions on how I could get those to archive will be really
appreciated.

thank you.

What type of items are they? What happens to that modified date if you open
the item?
