Screaming Eagles 101

hi,

We have changed our machines (XP Prof) to Log On automatically at reboot
(AutoAdmin = 1),
which works fine when the pc's reboot.

But, when we log off, the pc does not log on automatically again, this is
the case only after rebooting the machine.
What has to be changed in the registry so the machines log on automatically
as well after a simple logoff ?

You are incorrect.

I have seen a registry entry that allows what the OP just said, or was it a
security edit? I cannot recall for sure where I saw it.. but there IS a way!
Perhaps someone else can help.

It can be done, because we have one or two pc's that actually do what we
want here,
trouble is I have compared both registries for hours now, and I cannot find
it....
Our IT department also says that it's possible but they haven't found it yet
too...

how do you expect it to autologin? all by itself?

yes,
after a power-off for instance, the pc can reboot (if BIOS settings permit
it)
and when the standard user and password is added to the registry, with
these settings mentionned here above , the pc logs on and can start programs
all by itself.
No need to call the support teams anymore in the middle of the night :-)
