auto updater

when i run auto updater i get a message

warning could not connect to the internet.

What can i do to fix this?

Open Internet Explorer click File and ensure that Work offline is not
checked. Also ensure that any installed firewall is not blocking the
program.
 
Do you also have Sunbelt's Counterspy installed?

If so, an update install of Microsoft Antispyware may fix this.
