Auto Updater Status

When I try to look for updates I get a message that
says "warning, could not connect to the internet!" I have
DSL and cannot figure out how to connect the internet to
obtain updates.

1. if you have a firewall you might want to check your rules, you could be
blocking your internet connectivity or blocking Microsoft Antispyware
Updater.

2. Another thing Check your modem or router for connectivity by looking at
your link lights on them. If your link lights look good than do a ipconfig
/release and ipconfig /renew at the command line, in this order.

Some users who get this error from File, check for updates, find that the
autoupdate feature is working fine--try that.
