auto update text in cell b as date in cell a changes

I am working on an appointment calender that opens with the current date &
appointments. How do I make the appointment update daily?? Any help
appreciated.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I want the spreadsheet to update the date column to the current date each
time I reboot which I do with =today(). I also want the corresponding data
in the appointment column to update each time the date changes.
