auto typing

my internet explore is doing autotyping after i reinstalled windows... how do
i turn it off? i checked in internet options and it was already turned off
there.... maybe its an xp function? anythoughts

If you mean Autocomplete for web addresses, the options for this function
are in Tools/Internet Options/Advanced. Remove the check mark from the "Use
inline autocomplete" option.

Click the Content Tab and select the Autocomplete button. Remove the check
mark from the "Web Addresses" option.

Rightclick the taskbar, Toolbars, and put a check in Language Bar Click the
Microphone icon to turn it off
AND/OR
If you have the language bar running in the taskbar (properties, toolbars,
check it to show it) you may have the mic listening for speech input,
causing a delay in typing. I suggest going to the "Regional and Language
settings" applet in control panel Language Tab, Details button, Preferences,
Language Bar button put a check in the box to "turn off advanced text
services"
