Auto thumbnail

I understand how to use "auto thumbnail" but do I need to make the full size
image used - "a smaller file size" - before I begin using the auto
thumbnail feature in Frontpage, or can I leave the image file size as it was
in "My Documents" or as it came from the camera?

Hi Alan,

It depends on the overall file size of the full-sized image. It is probably
best to "optimize" the full sized image for the web in your favorite
graphics program..before you even import the full sized image into your web.
After you have done that..you can use the auto-thumbnail feature without
changing anything about the original image.

If you are using Windows XP (might work in other versions) and have lots of images you can download a PowerToy from Microsoft's website that will let you resize a whole folder of images at one time. I use this a lot as it saves me tons of time in resizing lots of pictures at once..

SHould be able to go to microsoft.com and search for powertoy.
