This depends on which version of Word you use. Up to Word 2003 the AutoText
feature is well-explained in the Help. In Word 2007, I believe AutoText was
incorporated into a different feature (Building Blocks?). But I don't have
Word 2007, so I can't help with that.

Please say what version you're using.
