Auto Text

I wish to setup an auto text so that when i write invoices, I can have it
say

Please note our payment terms are 14 days however we allow a 3% discount for
EFT payment received in full within 7 days of the date of this invoice and
your discounted amount is $000.00 if received by "Wednesday, 20 December
2006".

Where "Wednesday, 20 December 2006" is the auto text and changes to 7 days
from today's date (also is their any way to auto update this for a template,
currently I have to manually update it (as it is currently set to 14 days,
and I've fogotten how to change it to 7 days)

Thanks

Justin

First of all, I don't see why you'd need an AutoText in your example at
all: you setup an invoice template with all text in there already.

The trouble is the date calculation: yes, it can be done in Word, but
there are certainly applications which can do it a lot easier. Since
date calculation (and other calculations you'll need) are really not the
prime goal of a text processor, I would try to use Excel instead of
Word: you are spared a lot of work!

However, you can do this, either through VBA (you need to programm all
the date arithmetics yourself!), or through _complex_ field constructs:
