Is there a way to shut off the pop up screen that asks what you want to do
when inserting any CD's, DVD's, or other removable data storage without
having to select "take no action" for each one that is inserted? If so, can
this be done without stopping the auto start when installing new software?
Thanks.

Go to My Computer, right click on your CD and/or DVD drive(s). Choose
Properties. Select the AutoPlay tab at the top of the window. In the drop
down box, select which type of media you want to make the change for. Click
"Select and action to perform" and then in that list, choose "No Action".
You will never be prompted to choose again...
