I've checked every box to make Windows XP Messenger 4.7 automatically start and sign in and I still have to do it manually. Can you help me? Thanks

Greetings Johnny,

If you start Windows Messenger manually (via Start, All Programs, Windows Messenger), does it
automatically sign in then? Also, if not, do you have to actually type in your login and
password to sign in after this, or can you just click "Login as (e-mail address removed)" to get
in?

Yes, after I go trough start - programs - messenger, all I have to do is click sign in. I do not have to write in my address or password. but can all this be automatic?

OK. I solved the problem. I had downloaded the MSN Messenger version 6.0 and even though I wasn't using it, the program was conflicting with Windows Messenger. After removing the MSN Messenger, everything is working automatically. Thanks for your help anyway.
