Hi,
A MSN contact of mine has a problem with a virus. His pc keeps rebooting
and crashing often and randomly, but it is not on long enough to do a full
virus scan before it reboots.
I know there is a way to turn off the auto reboot, as I had a similar
problem a couple of years ago. The only place I can see to turn this feature
off is... control panel /system /advanced /startup and recovery/ settings.
This looks like it could be the right feature, but I dont think its the same
setting as I used when I had problems. Is this the right feature?
All he needs to be able to do is to keep the pc on long enough so he can do
a complete virus scan and clean his pc. I know he has to turn the system
restore off and on again to completely remove all of the virus.
I dont know any of his PC details other than he has XP.
Any help will be great, thanks so much in advance.
