Auto resize of pictures problem

I have a user that has shortcuts to pictures on our
website(intranet). The pictures are much larger than
thescreen resolution is set for, so only a portion of the
picture is seen. Scroll bars must be used to see the
rest of the picture.

I have gone into Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and have
enabled Image auto resizing. The same issue is at hand.
It did not change. I have exited IE, rebooted, and still
the images don't resize.

Any ideas out there

Hi,

Automatic Image Resizing only works for images that are directly opened in
Internet Explorer.
Images that are embedded in a Web page are not resized.
