auto reset my computer when creating pivot table

Hi

I am using Excel 2007 creating pivot table. sometimes when a drag a certain
field from the field list down to the value box, my computer restarts
automataiclly and lost everything from the last save.
IT only occur with a certain field, other fields in the same pivot table
work okay.
It is not working even if I copy the table in a new workbook and do the same
thing.

Please let me know why this happen.

Hi D,

I haven't seen this problem, but if you can send me a copy of the file I
will test it on my machine. (e-mail address removed)

You should also make sure you are running the latest service pack SP1. If
not you should download it, its free.

You can check to see if you are running it by choosing Office Button, Excel
Options, Resources. At the bottom right under about Microsoft Office Excel
see if it shows SP1.
