Auto Reply to Customer Enquiries

Hi
I have a website with a 'click here to contact us' button. The button
enables the customer to send us an email from their own email system. The
incoming emails go to a dedicated email account on our Exchange system. I'd
like to setup a rule that sends an acknowledgement message back to the
customer.

I've tried to use the 'out of office' auto reply but it is says 'out of
office' in the subject - even though my response template has a different
subject.

What's the best way to automate our acknowledgement?\
